Jeremiah 30:17 – For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, says the Lord. “Diabetes Awareness” starts with each individual, based on choices we make each day. Because someone doesn’t have diabetes, doesn’t mean you can’t get it! Take steps to educate yourself to prevent diabetes.You can prevent diabetes just by being aware and knowledgeable of the risks.  Diabetes affect many people every single day, so why wait? Get in front of this disease by being smart! – Talk to a physician – Read articles – Change your eating habits by choosing healthier foods – Be aware of your food intake – And also include exercise to your daily life. Your health is IMPORTANT! Understanding the risk-factors of diabetes will help prolong your life, change your lifestyle and be in tune with your overall health. “Water”

John 4:14 – But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again….. Water is a tasteless, odorless liquid at ambient temperature and pressure, and appears colorless in small quantities. Water is the chemical substance with chemical formula H2o. Water comes in many different forms, water, ice and vapor, which can be categorized by “phase of matter” which are liquid phase, solid phase and gaseous phase which is also known as “water vapor”. Water is vital as a solvent and as an essential part of many metabolic process within the body. The body cannot function without H2o, in order to avoid dehydration the body at least needs 7 liters of water per day. Drinking water play a part in healthy hair, skin and body. Did you know that your brain needs water to function properly? Your brain cells lose efficiency when you don’t drink enough water. Nucleus is the center of the cell and cytoplasm is part of the cell outside the nucleus which are the two major parts of the organelles.The cytoplasm is a gel-like material made made mostly of water. It holds everything inside the cell membrane and outside of the nucleus. Weight loss tip: Drinking water before meals can help with weight loss. ”Carbohydrates” slow carbs/ fast carbs

Psalm 107:9- For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good. Carbohydrates are made up of fiber, starch and sugars. carbohydrates are used as fuel for the nervous system and energy for the working muscles. There are three components that categorize which group carbohydrates fall in, “complex carbs” which are fiber and starch components and “simple carbs” which is a sugar component. Complex carbs are known to be a slow carbohydrate because of the way it absorbs and digest, although it digest slower than “simple carbs” complex carbs are a healthier choice of carbohydrates because it contains the right source of energy and keeps you full longer which in turn helps with weight loss. Slow carbs also helps to keep you regulated because of the fiber that’s included in your diet. Simple carbs are absorbed and digested more quickly and is known to be called a “fast carbohydrate” although it’s the first carbohydrate to digest, the sugars that are left behind turn into fat which can lead to poor health such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease. Flaxseed/Omega’s

You shall have them for food. “Flaxseeds” are small brown or yellow seeds, they also are known as flax or linseeds, which are small oil seeds that comes from a plant; although flaxseeds are small it has “big benefits”. If you’re looking to improve your health, nutritional intake, weight loss and life, flaxseeds have been known to offer plenty of health benefits such as fighting against some diseases and improving your overall health. The lignans in flaxseeds help to fight against cancer and help to reduce atherosclerotic plaque buildup by up to 75%, the omega-3s helps the cardiovascular system, helps to lower blood pressure and keeps the arteries healthy by keeping the white blood cells from sticking to the blood vessels inner linings, omega also has been known to provide a healthier heart.
