Matthew 15:17- Do you not yet realize that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then is eliminated? Dietary Fiber is a plant-based nutrient. It is a type of carbohydrate it cannot be broken down into digestible sugar molecules, therefore it’s passed through the intestinal tract still intact. Fiber plays and essential part in your body and also has great health benefits, such as heart health, digestion, blood sugar regulation and possible cancer prevention. Fiber can be put into two categories, soluble or insoluble; soluble dissolves and insoluble does not. They are both helpful and can be found in most plant-based foods. Insoluble fiber plays a role in speeding up the passage of food through the digestive system and help with maintaining regularity and prevents constipation. Fruits: Raspberries and apples or a good source of fiber. Raspberries or the most potent berry when it comes to fiber. Although raspberries has 8 grams of fiber in only 1 cup they are seasonal; apples on the other hand are year round and has 4.4 grams of fiber: not only or apples good in fiber they help you regulate your blood sugar. Weight loss tip: Eating more fiber helps keep you full longer. “Out with the old, in with the new”… 2 Corinthians 5:17- Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: Old things are passed away behold all things are new. Eating “beets” assists your liver and gall bladder in breaking down toxins, and their fiber is great for digestion and elimination. L-tryptophan
